This study is investigating whether a drug called inhaled Treprostinil works to help people with PPF improve their lung function. In this study, you will receive either inhaled Treprostinil or placebo. Placebo is made to look exactly like inhaled Treprostinil but does not contain the active ingredient (Treprostinil). Instead, it will pass through your body without affecting your symptoms of PPF or any other body system.

Treprostinil is given by inhaling (breathing in) the medicine into your lungs using a machine called a nebuliser (inhaling device). The nebuliser changes the liquid medicine into a mist for you to breathe into your lungs.

Treprostinil belongs to a group of drugs known as vasodilators. Vasodilators help to reduce the pressure in the arteries and widen the blood vessels in the lungs and other parts of the body. This helps the blood along with oxygen to flow more easily into your lungs. Treprostinil may also reduce lung scarring.
