CF or Non-CF bronchiectasis

STUDY OUTLINE
This study is a remote monitoring study.
It will allow for collection and monitoring of meaningful clinical data by volunteers in the home environment through a smart phone application.
The length of the study is for a 6-month period and aims to improve participant’s disease knowledge, self-management, treatment adherence and facilitate early recognition of exacerbations.

ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS
- Aged 18 years or above
- Owns and is capable of using a smartphone
- Current respiratory patient at SCGH or IRH
- Bronchiectasis participants require two flare ups requiring antibiotics in the last 12 months. Cystic Fibrosis patients require only one flare up requiring antibiotics in the last 12 months
WHAT'S INVOLVED
- Bi-weekly health measures
- Visits to SCGH or IRH for baseline, month 3 and month 6 visit including spirometry test
at these visits (Baseline, Month 3 and Month 6 on physical and mental health)
