• 15 clinic visits to the Institute for Respiratory Health in Midland (if on 104-week trial)
• 15 Phone calls (if on 104-week trial)

Study doctors are assessing an investigational medication — a type of biologic medicine given as shots just under the skin. They want to see if it can lower the number of moderate/ severe exacerbations (symptom flare-ups) and improve symptoms and quality of life compared to placebo when used as add-on therapy. Researchers also want to assess how safe the investigational medication is in this population. In this research study, you will get either investigational medication or placebo.
